Cover Design Services

I have over ten years of marketing and promotions experience including graphic design. My clients include folks like New York Times bestselling authors Christopher Golden, Rick Hautala, and Thomas E. Sniegoski, as well as James A. Moore, Owl Goingback, and Amber Benson. I love helping authors resurrect their out-of-print titles so that they can find legions of new fans.

I specialize in creating book covers that tell a story. And not just any story–your story. You want to reach as many readers as possible. I can help you do that.

Here are some samples of my work. You can find a more comprehensive portfolio on my dedicated cover design services website at

About My Services

I love creating book covers because I know first-hand how important it is to capture the essence of a story in an image that will entice readers to pick your book over all the others out there. A good cover will tell a story as it prods your curiosity and draws you in.

Whether you’re traditionally published and interested in sharing your backlist with your fans, or a new author ready to start making some fans, I can help you with your cover needs. Kindle, Nook, CreateSpace, Smashwords–I’m comfortable creating artwork in whatever format you might need.

How To Get Started

Email me at with information about your cover needs. Include things like:

  1. Title, genre, intended audience. A synopsis or first few chapters is helpful, too, so I get a feel for the tone of the book.
  2. Where the book will be published, and in what formats.
  3. Preferred deadline and any special circumstances. (For example, let me know if you need your cover in time for a special event.)
  4. Any concept ideas you already have. Include a description of your main character if you think you might want them portrayed. (Don’t worry if you don’t have any ideas, either. That’s what cover artists are for.)
  5. Links to several book covers you admire.

How We Work Together

From the information you send me, I’ll e-mail you with any questions and an estimated time frame. If we decide to work together, I’ll create a mock-up of your cover for your feedback and review. Once you approve the mock-up, I’ll create a low-res watermarked version of the final cover. Once you’ve approved the final draft and payment has been received, I’ll send you the clean, high-res publication-ready versions.

Turn-Around Time

Average delivery time is 1 to 3 weeks depending on the complexity of the project and the existing workload.

If you need a cover sooner, consider selecting one available for purchase now from my pre-designed cover gallery.

Covers are 1800 x 2700 px, 300 dpi unless requested otherwise. Files can be in .jpg, .png or .pdf depending on the project requirements.

Email me at with information about your project and I’ll send you a custom quote.
